Workers' Compensation

State Disability Programs

Minnesota does not have a standalone state disability insurance program. Minnesota has Paid Leave starting in 2026, providing up to 12 weeks for personal medical conditions and 12 weeks for family care.

For long-term disability, apply through federal SSDI/SSI.

Minnesota's Medicaid program is called Medical Assistance (MA).
